dc.description.abstractEhlers-Danlos sendromu (EDS), eklemlerde hiperekstansibilite, cutis laxa ile karakterize bir bağ doku hastalığıdır. Bu hastalıkta kolay morarma, epistaksis gibi kanama tabloları görülebilir. Kanamaların etiyolojisi kesin olarak bilinmemekle beraber sorunun kapiller yapının zayıflığından kaynaklandığı düşünülmektedir. EDS'lu hastalarda desmopressin (DDAVP) uygulaması özellikle IV, VI ve VIII.tiplerinde önerilmektedir. Biz de burada tip-II EDS düşünülen iki kardeşin hemostatik değerlendirmesini ve kız kardeşe uygulanan desmopressin sağıltımının sonuçlarını sunuyoruz.en_US
dc.description.abstractEhlers-Danlos syndrome is a heterogenous group of disorders which are characterised by hyperextensibility of the joints, cutis laxa and bleeding disorders. Easy bruisability and epistaxis are common bleeding findings. Etiology of bleeding is uncertain but, is usually believed due to abnormal capillary structure. There is experience and recommendations of desmopressin use in type IV, VI and VIII EDS. We here report hemostatic evaluation of two siblings with type-II EDS and response of female patient to desmopressin (DDA VP) administration for subconjunctival haemorrhage.en_US
