| dc.description.abstract | Çalışma, Türkiye’de erkek akademisyenlerin hegemonik erkeklik kavramını, aldıkları eğitimle beraber nasıl yeniden inşa ettiklerini ve oğullarına nasıl aktardıklarını analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma feminist bakış açısıyla hegemonik erkeklik, patriyarka ve sosyal inşa kavramları etrafında tasarlanmıştır. Nitel yaklaşımla incelenen çalışma kapsamında, Ege Üniversitesi’nde görev yapan 15 erkek akademisyenle yarıyapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırma, eğitim seviyesinin artmasıyla erkek akademisyenlerin, toplumsal geçiş aşamalarını oğullarına ne derece aktardıkları ve babalıkları üzerinde betimsel analiz yapmayı hedeflemektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze how male academics reconstruct the concept of hegemonic masculinity by education in Turkey, and how they transfer these male roles to their sons. According to this aim, research is designed around the concepts of hegemonic masculinity, patriarchy and social construction via feminist point of view. Within the scope of the study examined with qualitative perspective and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 male academics employed at Ege University. The study aims to make a descriptive analysis on the paternity of the male academics through in the level of education and the extent to which their social transition stages are imposed on their sons. | en_US |
