Özet
The aim of the study is to examine the school improvement practices in schools from the perspective of teachers and principals and to examine them in the context of the project process. The research design is in the multi-case study design, one of the qualitative research designs. Study group of the research was determined by maximum diversity sampling technique among purposeful sampling methods. In this study, data were collected through focus group interviews using a semi-structured interview form. Descriptive and content analysis methods were used in analyzing the data. According to the research findings, it is observed that school improvement practices have changed from "institutional arrangements" to "student-oriented practices"; and that the dimension of "physical arrangements" stands out among the dimensions of school improvement. When the content of school improvement practices is examined, it is seen that the practices have evolved towards ensuring the holistic development of the student. It has been determined that "Democratic administration approach" is mostly adopted regarding the change in the management of school improvement practices. As the obstacles encountered in the school improvement process, on the other hand, the obstacles arising from the "lack of parent support" and "teacher qualifications" have come to the forefront.
