dc.description.abstractPostmodernizm, varolan görüntülerin yeniden üretilmesine yönelik olarak kendine mal etme eylemiyle, sanatsal söylemde kullanılan bir yöntem olarak dikkat çekmektedir. Özellikle postmodern dönemde fotoğraf sanatı, hazırda varolan görüntüleri alımlamakta ve kendine mal etmektedir. Her türlü düşüncenin fotoğrafik anlamda ifade edildiği ve orijinal bir görüntü üretmenin mümkün olmadığı yargısı egemen olduğu için, varolan görüntülerin yeniden üretilerek güncellenmesi söz konusu olmaktadır. Hazırlanan çalışmada, postmodern sanat içerisinde yeniden üretme bağlamında kendine mal etme eylemi, fotoğraf sanatında bedeni sanatsal bir ifade aracı olarak kurgulama yaklaşımı açısından irdelenmektedir. Bu amaçla, Amerikalı Cindy Sherman’ın “Untitled Film Stills” (İsimsiz Film Kareleri), Japon Yasumasa Morimura’nın “Actress” (Aktris) ve Sebla Selin Ungun’un “Being Star” (Star Olmak) çalışması örneklem olarak seçilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractPostmodernism draws attention as a method used in artistic discourse by the act of appropriation of the reproduction of already existing images. Particularly in the postmodern period, the art of photography receives and appropriates these already existing images. In view of the prevalent opinion that all kinds of ideas are expressed photographically and it is not possible to produce an original image, the updating of existing images through reproduction has become the state of the photographic art today. In the current study, the act of appropriation in the context of reproduction within postmodern art has been examined in terms of editing approach using the body as an artistic expression in the art of photography. For this purpose, the studies of American Cindy Sherman’s “Untitled Film Stills”, Japanese Yasumasa Morimura’s “Actress” and Sebla Selin Ungun’s “Being Star” were chosen as examples.en_US
