Özet
Kültür insanların çevreyle ilişkilerinde, iletişim aracı ve mekan belirleyici niteliği ile önemli rol oynamaktadır. Yaratılan maddi kültür ögeleri o çağın toplumsal ve kültürel yapısının simgeleri olmaktadır. Yeni kentsel mekanların, tarihi kültür miraslarının dönüştürülerek oluşturulması kentlerin imajı açısından önem taşımakta kültür miraslarının korunarak kullanılabilmelerini ve günümüz yaşantısıyla bütünleştirilmesini sağlamaktadır. Çalımada 1890 yılında inşa edilen ve kültürel dokusunu günümüzde de koruyan Uşak tarihi tren garının kültür eksenli dönüşümüne yönelik senaryo geliştirilmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
