Mide ve duodenum hastalıklarında Helicobacter pylori'nin doku üreaz, kültür ve histopatoloji yöntemleri ile araştırılması

Helicobacter pylori üst gastro-intestinal sistem ile ilgili yakınması olan yüzelli olgunun mide antrumundan alınan biyopsi örneklerinde doku üreaz, kültür ve histopatolojik yöntemler ile araştırıldı. Doku üreazı 115 (% 77) olguda, kültür 126 (% 84) olguda ve histopatoloji 119 (% 79) olguda pozitif bulundu. Endoskopik tanılardan antral gastrit, duodenal ülser, bulbit, mide ülseri, atroik gastrit, normal ve mide polibinde sırasıyla %90(61 olgu), % 95 (43 olgu), % 77 (10 olgu), % 63 (5 olgu), % 37 (3 olgu), % 50 (3 olgu) ve % 50 (1 olgu) kültür ile H. pylori saptandı. Tanıda kullanılan testlerden doku üreazının duyarlılığı % 90, özgüllüğü % 96, histopatolojinin duyarlılığı % 93, özgüllüğü % 92 olarak bulundu. Elde edilen bulgulara göre H. pylori'nin üst gasto-intestinal sistem hastalıkları ile sıklıkla ilişkili olduğu ve kültürün tanı amacıyla vazgeçilmez bir yöntem olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
Helicobacter pylori was investigated from the biopsy specimens taken from gastric antrum of 150 patients who had upper gastrointestinal system complaints by tissue urease, culture and histopathologic methods. The positive results were in 115 (77 %) patients by tissue urease, 126 patients (84 %) by cultre and 119 patients (79 %) by histopathology. H. pylori was found positive in culture of patients diagnosed endocsopically as antral gastritis, duodenal ulcer, bulbitis, gastric ulcer, atrophie gastritis, normal and patients with polyp in the stomach; 90 % (61 cases), 95 % (43 cases), 77 % (10 cases), 63 % (5 cases), 37 % (3 cases) 50 % (3 cases) and 50 % (1 case, respectively. The sensitivity and spec/% of tissue urease were 90 % and 96 %; and histopathology 93 % and 92 % respectively. It is concluded, that H. pylori is associated with upper gastrointestinal system diseases and cluturing should be used as a diagnostic method.
