Özet
Kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılarak günümüze gelen sözlü kültür ürünleri ulusların öz varlığının bir yansımasıdır. Bu ürünlerden biri olan atasözleri, ait oldukları ulusun kültürünü, geleneklerini, inançlarını, ahlak anlayışını ve bunun gibi birçok özelliğini yansıtan kalıplaşmış ve anonim sözlerdir. Deneyimlere ve gözlemlere bağlı olarak ortaya çıkmış olan atasözlerini işledikleri konular bağlamında değerlendirecek olursak oldukça geniş bir alanı kapsadıklarını görürüz. Aile, dostluk, sağlık, görgü, maddi değerler, hayvanlar vb. konular, öğüt verici, yol gösterici ve uyarıcı nitelikteki bu kalıp cümlelerin işlediği konulardan sadece bir kısmıdır. Söz sanatı unsurlarının ustaca kullanıldığı, çoğu bir ya da iki cümleden oluşan atasözlerinde az kelime ile çok şey ifade edilmektedir. Kısa ancak anlatım gücü yüksek olan atasözleri psikoloji, sosyoloji, felsefe vb. birçok disiplin tarafından incelenmeye ve değerlendirilmeye açıktır. Bu makalede Ömer Asım Aksoy'un "Atasözleri ve Deyimler Sözlüğü Atasözleri"nde yer alan atasözlerinden müzik unsurları içerenleri seçilerek, bunların, atasözlerinin anlamlarını ortaya koymadaki rollerini belirlemek için bir çözümleme yapılmıştır.
Oral cultural products which have been transmitted from generation to generation, are the reflections of the nobility of the nations. One of these products, namely proverbs, are stereotyped and anonymous words that reflect the many characteristics of nation’s culture, traditions, beliefs, morality and so on. We can see that proverbs, which have come to exist based upon experiences and observations, have considerably large scope if we evaluate them according to their topics. Family, friendship, health, manners, material values, animals, etc. are only part of the advisory, guiding and cautionary topics they cover. Proverbs, in which rhetoric is used skillfully, are composed of one or two sentences, and deep meaning is expressed by only few words. Proverbs are short but have high expression power and they are open to examination and evaluation by may disciplines like psychology, sociology, philosophy etc. In this article, after choosing the proverbs that contain musical terms in Ömer Asım Aksoy’s Atasözleri veDeyimler Sözlüğü Atasözleri (Proverbs and Idioms Dictionary—| Proverbs), we will make an analysis to determine these terms’ roles in revealing the meanings of the proverbs.
