Üst tam protezlerin tutuculuğunu etkileyen mekanik faktörlerden postdam alam, protezin bitiş çizgisine gö¬re belirlenir. Bitiş çizgisini belirlemek için ise titreşim çizgisini belirlemek gerekir. Bu araştırmada 99 hasta¬da protezin bitiş çizgisi (titreşim çizgisi) belirlenmiş ay¬nı zamanda fovea'laruı titreşim çizgisine uzaklığı, orta hattaki bastırılabilirlik ve postdam alanının genişliği klinik verilere dayanarak istatistiksel olarak değerlen¬dirilmiştir.
The postdam area, a mechanical factor affecting the retenti¬on of the upper complete denture, is determined according to the posterior extension of the denture. in this study, the posterior extension of the denture was determined in 99 spe¬cimens and the distance of the fovea palatinea to the vibra¬ting line, the resilience of the medline and the width of the postdam area was statistically evaluated based on the clini-calfindings.
