| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada Tinthia myrmosaeformis (Lepidoptera, Sesiidae)' in gelişme dönem-lerinin tanınması, yayılışı ve zarar şekline ait bilgiler verilmiştir. Larvaların, Beşparmak otu, Potentilla recta (Rosaceae)' nın gövde ve kökleri içerisinde beslenmesi sonucu bitki gelişememektedir. Bu durum, tohum ve stolonları ile üreyen bu yabancıotun gelişme ve yayılmasını önleyen ve sadece Potentilla spp. üzerinde beslenen türün biyolojik savaş etmeni olarak önemini artırmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, all developmental stages of Tinthia myrmosaeformis were described and figured. Its distribution in Turkey and damage on weed sulphur cinquefoil, Potentilla recta L. (Rosaceae) was also investigated. the larvae of the moth limited the development of the weed by feeding in stem and root. the insect prevents the development of weed by destroying the stolons which are the reproduction means of the plants. As T. myrmosaeformis can feed only on Potentilla spp., this increases the importance of this insect as a biocontrol agent. | en_US |
