| dc.description.abstract | Tiftik (Moher) en yaygın kullanılan ve orijini Türkiye olan Ankara Keçisi'nden elde edilen uzun ve parlak bir özel liftir. "Angora" adını bu keçilerin ilk yetiştirildiği yer olan Ankara'dan almaktadır. Tiftik lifleri genellikle yün liflerine kıyasla yumuşaklık, düzgünlük ve parlaklık gibi özelliklere sahiptir. Bu nedenle tiftik lifleri ve diğer özel hayvansal lifler yüzyıllardan beri özel giysilerin ve yünle karıştırılarak tüketiciler ve moda endüstrisi için uygun geniş çaptaki tekstil mamullerinin üretiminde kullanılmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Mohair is the most commonly used specialty fibre and forms the long lustrous coat of the angora goat, which originated in Turkey. "Angora" is a corruption of a Turkish word meaning "selected", or of Ankara, where the animal was first bred. Mohair fibres are generally acknowledged to have special properties of softness, smoothness and lustre, when compared to sheep wool. Thus goat fibres and other specialty animal fibres have been used for hundreds of years to produce unique garments, and in combination with wool, to extend the range of textiles and textile products available to consumers and the fashion industry. | en_US |
