Bu araştırma, Orta ve Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde yayılış gösteren yarasa türlerine ait toplam 200 örnek üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmalar sonunda Megachiroptera subordosundan Rousettus aegyptiacus, Microchiroptera subordosunun Rhinolophidae familyasından Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, RMpposideros, R.euryale, RMasii, R.mehelyi, Vespertilionidae familyasından Myotis blythii, Mxapaccinii, M.emarginatus, M.myotis, M.mystacinus, M.nattereri, Eptesicus bottae, E. serotinus, Pipistrellus kuhlii, P.pipistrellus, Plecotus auritus, P.austriacus ve Miniopterus schreibersii ile Molossidae familyasından Tadanda teniotis türlerinin bölgede dağılış gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. The study was based on a total of 200 specimens of the bats, distributing on the Central and Eastern Mediterranean Region. As a result of this investigation, Rousettus aegyptiacus from family Pteropodidae of suborder Megachiroptera and Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, RMpposideros, R.euryale, RMasii, R.mehelyi from family Rhinolophidae, Myotis blythii, M.capaccinii, M.emarginatus, M.myotis, M.mystacinus, M.nattereri, Eptesicus bottae, Eserotinus, Pipistrellus kuhlii, P.pipistrellus, Plecotus auritus, P.austriacus and Miniopterus schreibersii from family Vespertilionidae and also Tadarida teniotis from family Molossidae of suborder Microchiroptera were established to distribute in this region. Each of all these species, except for Pipistrellus pipistrellus, are represented only one subspecies in the search area. It has two subspecies. In addition, Myotis capaccinii and Eptesicus serotinus have each different forms can be separated their neighbour populations. And so Two new subspecies, Myotis capaccinii abidinbudaU ssp.nov. and Eptesicus serotinus anatolicus ssp.nov. were described. Also the existence of Plecotus austriacus christiei in Türkiye was established for the first time. Consequently the area has a rich chiropteranfauna with 20 species (62.5 %) as Turkish country has 32 bat species. Keywords: Mediterranean, Chiroptera, bats, systematics, zoogeography.
