| dc.description.abstract | Altmış yaş ve üstündeki bağışık engeli olmayan ve total protez kullanan 100 kişinin ağız mukozası ve protez yüzeyleri Candida kolonizasyonu yönünden mikolojik yöntemlerle incelendi, sonuçlar yarı kantitatif olarak değerlendirildi. Ayrıca protez kullanmayan 30 kişi de kontrol grubu olarak incelendi. İncelenen kişilerin % 43'ünde dişetinde, % 27'sinde dil-yanak mukozasında ve protezlerin % 65'inde Candida saptandı. Kontrol grubunda ağız mukozası Candida kolonizasyonu % 10 idi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | A hundred elderly who were over 60 years of age, wearing complete denture and without immunsupression were examined for Candida colonization of oral mucosa and denture surfaces. Results were evaluated by semiquantitative culture method. Candida spp. were isolated from gingiva, tongue-buccal mucosa and denture of subjects at rates of 43 %, 27 % and 65 %, respectively. Candida colonisation of oral mucosa in the control group was 10%. | en_US |
