dc.description.abstractÇalışmanın ilk bölümüne, modernizm kavramının kısa bir özgeçmişi; modernist hareketlerin toplumsal kimlik oluşumuna etkileri ve modernizmin yarattığı 'büyük meşrulaştırma anlatıları'nın kadın-erkek ilişkilerinde ne tür bir ayrana yol açtığı incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Feminist teorinin gelişimi ve kadının kimlik oluşumuna etkileri de bu bölüme konu olacak, cinsel kimlik ve modern anlatıların o ünlü dikotomisi, 'doğal-kültürel ayrımı incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Modernizmi, 'bitmemiş bir proje' olarak betimleyen Habermas ve onun, kamusal alan konusundaki düşüncelerine ile kavram olarak 'kamusal alan' araştırılacak; feminist eleştirinin en fazla odaklandığı konulardan biri olan 'kamusal/özel' ayranının toplumsal, tarihi ve felsefi yönü incelenerek, toplumsal cinsiyetle kamusal alan ilişkisi ele alınacaktır. İkinci bölümde ise, sinema ve modernizm ilişkisi araştırılacak, modern sinemada cinsiyetler açısından 'bakış'ın yönü kavramı ele alınacaktır. Ardından Türk modernizmi ve modernizmin Türkiye'de kadın hareketlerine etkisi incelenecektir. Belirli bir kıyaslamaya gidebilmek için Cumhuriyet ve sonrası, iki ayrı dönemde incelenecektir. Üçüncü ve son bölümde sinemada kadın ve Türk sinemasında genel kadın tiplemeleri, başlangıcından bugüne kısa bir incelemeye tabî tutulacak; döneme ışık tutması bakımından, sinemamıza damgasını vurmuş kadın oyuncular ve yarattıkları karakterlerden bazıları bu bölümde incelenecektir. Aynı bölüm içerisinde, çalışan kadın temsilleri, genel bir bakışla incelenecek, 90'lardan bir film seçkisiyle bu temsillerin Türk sinemasındaki yansımaları detaylı bir biçimde ele alınacaktır. 266en_US
dc.description.abstractIn the first chapter of the project, a brief history of modernity, its effects on the formation of social identity and what kind of differentiation between man and woman is constructed by modernity-made 'great vindicative narrations' are going to be considered. The same chapter goes on with the feminist theory and its effects on the formation of the identity of woman. The constituition of the sexual identity and one of the most famous dichotomies of modern narrations -natural/cultural- will be examined. Finally, in the firts chapter we are going to discuss about one of the most important philosophers of our time, Habermas, who defines modernity as an unfinished project and his thoughts about 'public sphere'. The 'public sphere' will be also discussed as a concept and the public/private duality, on which the feminist critics have spent a lot of effort, will be examined in both historical and philosophical point of views and its relation with gender formations. The second chapter examines the relation between cinema and modernity and the direction of the 'look' in modern cinema. Later, the turkish revolution and Turkish woman movements are going to be studied. To make a meaningful comparison, this topic will be studied in two periods: pre-Republic and post-Republic periods. In the third and last chapter, woman in cinema and the general woman stereotypes of turkish cinema will be examined from the beginning till now and to shed light on the period, some actresses and some typical characters are going to be discussed. In the same chapter, working woman representations in cinema are going to be studied generally and with an anthology of 90' s turkish movies, the reflections of this representations are going to be examined in a detailed way. 267en_US
