Özet
Burada insizyonel hernilerde primer onarımlar ve farklı sentetik greft uygulamaları arasında bir inceleme yaparak aralarındaki farkı ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla retrospektif bir çalışma sunulmuştur. 1991-1996 yılları arasında insiz¬yonel herni nedeniyle başvuran 281 olgu retrospektif ola¬rak incelendikten sonra mektupla kontrolü çağılarak nü'ks açısından değerlendirildi. Olguların 228'i kadın, 53'ü er¬kek olup yaş ortalaması 56 (21-91) idi. Öpere edilen 281 hastanın 27'sine (% 9.6) primer onarım, 254'üne (% 90.4) sentetik greft uygulandı. Polipropilen greft uygulanıp or¬talama 44 ay takip edilen 182 olguda % 4.3, Politetraf-luoroetilen uygulanıp tümü ortalama 17 ay takip edilen 12 olgunun birinde (% 8.3) ve primer onarım uygulanıp orta¬lama 58 ay takip edilen 5 olguda (% 27.7) nüks saptandı. Sonuç olarak polipropilen greftin kolay uygulanabilir, nüksü az, ve maliyet açısından en uygun materyel olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
IncisionabHernias and Repair With Prosthetic Materials Herein y/e report a retrospective analysis that shows the difference between primary hernia repair and repair with different prosthetic mesh grefts in postoperative hernia. Between January 1991 and December 1996, 281 hernia repair were performed in Ege University General Surgery Department. All patients were examined retrospectively and controlled in the last two months for recurrence. There were 228 women and 53 men and mean age was 56 (21-91). Primary hernia repair was performed in 27 pa¬tients (9.6 %) and hernia repair with prosthetic mesh greft was peiformed in 254 patients (90.4 %). The recurrence ratio of hernia was % 4.3 in 183 patients that performed hernia repair with polypropylene mesh in the 44 months follow up period, 8.3 % in the 12 patients with polytetra-fluoroethylene in 17 months and 27.7 % in five patients with primary hernia repair in 58 months. In conclusion polypropylene mesh greft is the best material that gives the best results as easy performing, low recurrence ratio and low price.
