Ebe/hemşirelere verilen ruh sağlığı ve hastalıkları eğitiminin ruhsal hastalıklara yaklaşımlarına iletişim becerilerine ve iş doyumlarına etkilerinin araştırılması

Özet
Araştırma, ebe/hemşirelere verilen ruh sağlığı ve hastalıkları eğitiminin, ruhsal hastalıklara yaklaşımlarına, iletişim becerilerine ve iş doyumlarına etkilerini saptamak amacıyla tek grup öntest-sontest deneme öncesi modeli olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, birinci basamakta çalışan 213 ebe/hemşire, örneklemini ise ruh sağlığı eğitimine gönüllü olan 30 kişi oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Ebe/Hemşirelerin Sosyo-Demografik Veri Formu, Ruh Sağlığı-Hastalıkları’na Yönelik Tutum Anketi, İletişim Becerilerini Değerlendirme Ölçeği, Hemşirelik İş Doyumu Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma grubunun ruh sağlığı eğitimi öncesi ruh hastalıklarını tanılama toplam puan ortalaması 9.6±3.6, eğitim sonrası 12.9±3.8 olup, aralarındaki fark ise anlamlı bulunmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan grubun eğitim öncesi iletişim becerileri toplam puan ortalamasının 82±7.8, eğitim sonrası 85.3±5.9 olduğu saptanmış olup, iki ortalama arasındaki fark anlamlılık göstermektedir. Araştırma grubunun ruh sağlığı eğitim öncesi genel iş doyumu puan ortalaması 83.5±20.7, eğitim sonrası 77.7±21.5’tir. Sonuç olarak, ebe/hemşirelerin eğitim sonrası bilgi puan ortalamaları ile olumlu yaklaşımlarının arttığı saptanmıştır.
This study was planned that the model of mono grup pretest-posttest experiment former to determine effective of their approach to mental illness and their communication skills, their job satisfaction of mental health-illness education introduced to nurses/midwives. The total number of nurses/ midwives working in the Primary Health Care Centers is 213. The sample of study was included 30 persons voluntary to education. Data was collected with Socia-Demographic Data Form of Nurses/ midwives, Form of Attitude towards the Mental Health-Mentally Ill, Evaluation of Communication Skills Scale and Nursing Job Satisfaction Scale. According to the results, mean pre-post education the assessment of mental illnesses scores of this research group were 9.6±3.6, 12.9±3.8 points, respectively. Averages pre-post education communication skills scores of this group were determined 82±7.8, 85.3±5.9 points, respectively. Mean pre-post mental health education the general job satisfaction scores of research group 83.5±20.7, 77.7±21.5 points. Consequently, nurses/midwives of averages of the knowledge point of post education and positive approach were increased.
