| dc.description.abstract | Glikojen depo hastalığı (GDH), glikojen sentezi ya da salınımında görevli enzimlerden birinin yokluğu veya yetersizliği sonucu gelişen, otozomol resesif geçişli doğuştan karbonhidrat metabolizması bozukluğudur. Hasarlı enzimin metabolik yoldaki lokalizasyonu ile ilişkili olarak farklı GDH subtipleri tanımlanmıştır. Hepatik tutulumlu GDH olgularında hipoglisemi, açlık sırasında hepatik glikojeninin glukoz kaynağı olarak kullanılamamasına bağlı olarak gelişen temel semptomdur. GDH Tip I, III ve VI de beslenme tedavisi ile daha iyi metabolik kontrol sağlanır. Beslenme tedavisinde amaç normoglisemi sağlamak için gün boyunca diyetle sürekli glukoz kaynakları sağlamak, normal büyüme ve gelişmeyi devam ettirmektir. Bu makalede GDH Tip IIIa tanısı ile izlenen olgunun tedavisinde tıbbi beslenmenin yönetimi ve önemi tartışılacaktır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Glycogen storage disease (GSD), is caused by a defect in any of multiple enzymes involved in the synthesis or utilization of glycogen. GSD is autosomal recessive disorder. Different subtypes of the diseases have been defined as related to their location on the metabolic pathway. Hypoglycemia is the cardinal manifestation of the hepatic glycogenoses due to inability to utilize glycogen as a source of glucose in a fasting state. Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) is more effective for better metabolic control in GSD Type I, III and VI than other subtypes. The goal of the medical nutrition therapy is to provide normoglycemia, normal growth and development. We discussed a medical nutrition approach of a child with GSD IIIa. | en_US |
