Pamukta (Gossypium hirsutum L.) uç alma ve pix uygulamalarının verim ve kalite üzerine etkileri

Özet
Ödemiş (İzmir)’te, 1994 yılında, pamuk ürününde yapılan çalışmada; büyüme regülatörlerinden pix (mepiquat cloride) ve uç alma uygulamalarının Nazilli 84 ve Nazilli 87 pamuk çeşitlerinde verim ve kaliteye olan etkileri incelenmiştir. Uç alma ve pix uygulamaları, iki pamuk çeşidinde 1: Kontrol, 2: Erken (3-6 koza dönemi) ve 3: Geç (6-8 koza dönemi) dönem olarak, iki farklı zamanda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Faktörlerden pix dekara 100 gram uygulanmış, uç alma ise; bitkinin tepe noktasından 10 cm’lik kısmı kesilerek yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; pix uygulamasının erken döneminden 240 kg/da, geç döneminden 218 kg/da, uç almanın erken döneminden 211 kg/da, geç döneminden ise 198 kg/da kütlü verimi alınmıştır. Kütlü veriminde görülen bu farklılıklar istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmamıştır. Lif ve tohum özelliklerindeki farklılıklar da önemsiz çıkmıştır. Ancak, iki pamuk çeşidinde de uygulamalar, bitki boyunu kontrol ederek hasatta erkenciliği teşvik etmiştir. Uygulamaların bitki boyu ve erkenciliğe etkisi istatistiki olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Maliyet çalışmasında en yüksek net gelir, pix uygulamasının geç döneminden sağlanmıştır.
The effects of application of pix, (mepiquat chloride) wich is one of the plant growing regulators and topping to Nazilli 84 and nazilli 87 on yield an quality were studied in ödemis (Đzmir) in 1994. Topping and the treatment of pix were applied two times in two cotton varieties. First application was at early stage (3-6 boll period), second was at late stage of growing season (6-8 boll period). No treatments were applied in control plot. As one of the treatments, pix was applied at the rate of 100 g/da. Topping, another treatments was done by cutting from 10 cm of the top of the plants. Stubby yield were obtained 240 kg/da at early stage and 218 kg/da at late stage from Pix applications, and 211 kg/da at early stage and 198 kg/da at late stage from topping. This stubby yield differences were not found statistically significant. Howover, the treatments were found to be effective on earlynes at harvest time by controlling plant height. the statistically significant differances were found for earliness and plant height for both applications cotton varieties. in the cost analysis, pix treatments applied at late stage were found to have the highest net income.
