dc.description.abstract | Novel 1,3-dialkylimidazolinium and 1,3-dialkyltetrahydropyrimidinium hexafluorophosphate salts as N-heterocyclic carbene precursors were prepared by reacting N, N'-dialkylethandiamine or N, N'-dialkylpropandiamine, triethyl orthoformate, and ammonium hexafluorophosphate.
