dc.description.abstractSomatostatin, hücre proliferasyonunu inhibe eden bir nöropeptidtir. Somatostatin analoglarının hepatosellüler karsinomlarda yaygın olarak kullanılmasına rağmen malign hepatositlerin reseptör ekspresyonu hakkında bilinenler yeterli değildir. Elli üç hepatosellüler karsinom olgusunda parafin kesitlerde immunohistokimyasal olarak somatostatin reseptör 1 (SSTR1) uygulandı. SSTR1 pozitifliği ile morfolojik parametreler arasında bir korelasyon saptanamadı. An­cak, Kİ67 ile SSTR1 arasında anlamlı negatif ilişki görüldü. Çalışmamızda SSTR1 ekspresyonunun Kİ67 proliferasyon markeri ile negatif korelasyon göstermesi somatostatin analoglarının antiproliferatif etkisini desteklemiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractSomatostatin is a neuropeptide that inhibits cell proliferation. Although somatostatin analogs are used widely in hepatocellular carcinoma treatment, knowledge about malign hepatocyte receptor expression is not sufficient. Somatostatin receptor 1 (SSTR 1) was applied by immunohistochemistry in paraffin sections of 53 hepatocellular carcinoma cases. No correlation was found between morphological parameters and SSTR 1 positivity. Interestingly a close negative relationship was observed between Kİ67 and SSTR1. In our study, exhibition of negative correlation between SSTR1 expression and Kİ67 proliferation marker supports antiproliferative effect of somatostatin analogs.en_US
