Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak “Hasta Güvenliği Kültürü Hastane Anketi (HGKHA)” kullanıldı. Araştırma verileri, SPSS 15.00 paketiyle analiz edilmiş olup; sayısal değerler, sayı ve yüzde dağılımı, ortalama, standart sapma, t testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin tıbbi hata/olay raporlama ile ilgili yorumlarına bakıldığında, %83.1’i son 12 ayda birimlerinde olay raporunun hiç yazılmadığını belirtti. Araştırmada, hemşirelerin %37.8’si (n=56) çalıştıkları birimin hasta güvenliği derecesini çok iyi, %43.3’ü (n=65) kabul edilebilir, %11.5’i (n=17) zayıf olarak değerlendirdi. Araştırmada, HGKHA pozitif yanıtların genel yüzde ortalaması 39.6±1.39 (Min-Max: 23.4-64.4) olarak bulundu.
