dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, toplumumuzda yoksulluğa yönelik atıfların saptanması ve bu konuda kapsamlı bir ölçeğin geliştirilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Çalışma 1’de Yoksulluğa İlişkin Nedensel Atıflar (YİNA) Ölçeği’nde yer alacak maddeler belirlenmiş, Çalışma 2’de YİNA Ölçeği’nin psikometrik özellikleri sınanmıştır. Açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları, toplumumuzda yoksulluğun bireyci atıflar, yapısal atıflar ve kaderci-ailesel atıflar olmak üzere üç atıf boyutu temelinde açıklandığını göstermiştir. Söz konusu atıf boyutlarının diğer değişkenlerle ilişkisi, YİNA Ölçeği’nin geçerliğini desteklemiştir. Ayrıca, atıf boyutlarının iç tutarlık katsayılarının bireyci atıflar için .91, yapısal atıflar için .91 ve kaderci-ailesel atıflar için .69 olduğu bulunmuştur. Analizler YİNA Ölçeği’nin üniversite öğrencileri üzerinde yeterli ölçüde geçerlik ve güvenirlik değerlerine sahip olduğuna işaret etmiştir. Sonuçlar, yoksulluk literatürü ışığında ve kültürel bağlamda tartışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present study was to examine the attributional dimensions for poverty and to develop the Attributions for Poverty Scale (APS) in Turkey. For this purpose the two studies were carried out. In the first study, items were selected for the scale and in the second study the psychometric properties of the APS were examined. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses revealed that poverty is explained by the three main causal dimensions; individualistic attributions, structural attributions, and fatalistic attributions-family factors. Analyses demonstrated that AFP Scale had satisfactory level of reliability and validity coefficients in university students. The findings were discussed on the basis of related poverty literature and given cultural context.en_US
