V ÖZET ÇİMENTO TİPİNİN DONATI - BETON ADERANSINA ETKİSİ BARADAN, Selim Yüksek Lisans Tezi, İnşaat Mühendisliği Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi : Yrd. Doç. Dr. Kambiz RAMYAR Ağustos 1997, 135 sayfa Bu çalışmada, gün geçtikçe çeşitleri ve kullanımı artan çimentoların farklı özellikleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın asıl amacı, farklı tipte çimento kullanılan betonların değişik koşullarda aderans özelliğinin değişiminin incelenmesidir. Uygulamaya yakınlık sağlamak amacı ile piyasada en çok kullanılan beton BS18 ve gün geçtikçe kullanımı artan BS25 sınıfı betonlar üzerinde deneyler yapılmıştır. Deneyler, Ege Bölgesi iklim koşullarında özellikle yaz aylarında yüksek sıcaklıklarda taze betonların korunma durumunu da incelemek üzere ; normal kür koşullarında saklanan örnekler ve yüksek sıcaklıkta saklanan örnekler üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Beton ve donatı arasındaki aderans özelliği, çimento tipine göre değişik yaş, beton sınıfı ve kür koşullarına göre araştırılmıştır. Aderans özelliğinin yanısıra, söz konusu beton karışımlarının yukarıda belirtilen koşullarda ; basınç dayanımı, çekme dayanımı gibi mekanik özelliklerinin değişimi de incelenmiştir. VI ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF CEMENT TYPE ON THE BOND STRENGTH OF CONCRETE AND REINFORCEMENT BARADAN, Selim MSc in Civil Engineering Supervisor : Assistant Prof. Kambiz RAMYAR August 1997, 135 pages Various properties of diffirent types of cements have been investigated in this study. The main objective of this research is to determine the bonding properties between concrete and reinforcement under variable conditions using different types of cement which are more commonly used nowadays. Two classes of concrete have been used in this study; C18 (BS18) which has the highest percentage of consumption and C25 (BS25) which has the highest rate of increase in consumption. The tests were performed in two different curing conditions. Half of the concrete samples were kept in curing tanks within standard temperatures and the other half were soaked in water that has elevated temperature in order to simulate hot summer days' curing conditions. The bond strength between concrete and reinforcement were investigated for different types of cement under various concrete type, age and curing conditions. The mechanical properties such as compressive and tensile strength were also determined for each case. Keywords : Bond, bond strength, cement type, curing conditions.
