Özet

The present study is a relational survey study that tries to describe the relations among variables, a descriptive research design. In the present study, the relationship between teachers perceived multicultural competencies, morality and personality characteristics was examined. The data of the study was collected from 372 teachers who work in various educational levels. The data was collected by three scales. Teachers’ perceived multicultural competences were collected by “Perceived Multicultural Competence Scale” developed by Başbay and Kağnıcı (2011), “Moralischer-Urteil-Test” adapted to Turkish by Çiftçi (1997) and “10 Item Personality Scale” adapted to Turkish by Atak (2013). In the study MIMIC model was used. The model was set to test whether personality scores directly and indirectly through morality effect perceived multicultural competencies. According to results although moral judgment scores did not have significant relationship with personality and perceived multicultural competence, a significant relationship was found between personality and perceived multicultural competence. © 2019, Ankara University.
