Özet
Bu çalışmada amaç; COVID-19 pandemisinde klinikte aktif görev alan, İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği'nde lisansüstü eğitim alan hemşirelerin pandemi süreciyle ilgili durum değerlendirmelerinin SWOT analizi tekniği ile yapılmasıdır. Bu araştırma, COVID-19 pandemisinde sağlık çalışanlarının durum analizini yapmak üzere planlanmış tanımlayıcı, fenomenolojik yaklaşım kullanılan nitel bir çalışmadır. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında evrene dahil olan kişiler dijital ortamda e-mail adresleri üzerinden gönderilen "Araştırma Katılım Formu" aracılığıyla çalışma ile ilgili bilgilendirilmiş, katılım istekleri, gönüllülük onamı ve iletişim bilgileri alınmıştır. Veriler; birinci aşamada çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden kişiler ile internet dolayımlı ve interaktif iletişim kanalları yoluyla bire bir görüşme yöntemi ile "Bireysel Tanıtım Formu" ve "SWOT Analizine İlişkin Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Soru Formu" üzerinden toplanmıştır. Bu araştırma sonucunda; lisansüstü öğrencilerin COVID-19 pandemisi ile ilgili deneyimlerine ilişkin ifadelerinin ışığında, SWOT analizi anlam gruplarından güçlü yönlerde; 10 tema, zayıf yönlerde; 4 tema, fırsatlarda; 5 tema ve tehditlerde; 14 tema ortaya konmuştur. Bu temalar ayrıntılı incelendiğinde, güçlü yönlerde; kaliteli eğitim, kendini geliştirme becerisi, iletişim kurma becerisi, etkin rol, manevi bakım gücü, uyum becerisi, baş etme becerisi, kurumsal farkındalık, kurumsal olanaklar, sosyal dayanışma olmak üzere 10 tema, zayıf yönlerde; iş yönetimi, mesleki yalnızlık, psikolojik destek sistemleri, gelir durumu olmak üzere 4 tema, fırsatlarda; mesleki gelişim/deneyim, toplumun sağlıkçılara bakış açısı, ekip çalışması, kriz yönetimi, maddi olanaklar olmak üzere 5 tema, tehditlerde; bilinmezlik, korku, bulaş riski, kişisel koruyucu ekipman kullanımı, ekip çatışması, damgalama, tükenmişlik/yorgunluk, sağlık çalışanlarına yönelik şiddet, iş plansızlığı, deneyimsizlik, oryantasyon program eksikliği, sağlık üzerine olumsuz etkiler, sosyal izolasyon, ulaşım/barınma sorunları olmak üzere 14 tema ortaya konmuştur.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the situation of the nurses who took an active role in the clinic in the COVID-19 pandemic and received postgraduate education in Internal Medicine Nursing, with the SWOT analysis technique. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive, phenomenological approach, planned to analyze the situation of healthcare workers in the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first stage of the study, nurses who received postgraduate education in Internal Medicine Nursing at Ege University were informed about the study through the "Research Participation Form" sent via e-mail addresses in the digital environment. Participation requests, voluntary consent and contact information of individuals were obtained. In the first stage, the data were collected through the "Individual Introduction Form" and the "Semi-Structured Interview Questionnaire for SWOT Analysis" with the individuals who agreed to participate in the study, through internet-mediated and interactive communication channels. In the light of the statements of the nurses who received postgraduate education at Ege University Internal Medicine Nursing regarding their experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the sub-headings of the SWOT analysis, 10 themes emerged in Strengths. These themes are quality education, self-development skills, communication skills, active role, spiritual care power, adaptability, coping skills, corporate awareness, institutional opportunities, and social solidarity. 4 themes emerged in Weaknesses. These themes are business management, occupational loneliness, psychological support systems, and income status. 5 themes emerged in Opportunities. These themes are professional development/experience, society's perspective on healthcare professionals, teamwork, crisis management, and financial opportunities. 4 themes emerged in Threats. These themes are obscurity, fear, risk of contamination, use of personal protective equipment, team conflict, stigma, burnout/fatigue, violence against healthcare workers, lack of work plan, inexperience, lack of orientation program, negative effects on health, social isolation, transportation/shelter problems.
