n-Hexane, ethanol and water extracts of Laurus nobilis L. leaves were evaluated for cytotoxic properties using the Brine shrimp bioassay. Only the n-hexane extract exhibited cytotoxic activity. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
