Özet
Bu araştırmada, Antalya Körfezi'nde dağılım gösteren Akdeniz hamsisinin biyolojik özelliMerinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Gırgırla avlanmış 438 adet örnek, kasım 1997 ile mayıs 1998 kadar olan 7 aylık periyodda toplanmıştır. Bu türün boy-ağırlık dağılımı, yaş-eşey kompozisyonu, yaş-boy, yaş-ağırlık ilişkileri ile kondisyon faktörü, üremesi ve balıkçılığı gibi özellikler incelenmiştir. Yaş kompozisyonu saptanan 407 bireyin, I ile IH yaş grupları arasında dağdım gösterdiği ve en fazla bireyin %44.47 ile L %47.91 ile II yaş grublanna ait olduğu bulunmuştur. Von Bertalanfry'e göre hesaplanan boyca büyüme parametreleri dişi+erkek içinL"= 33.77cm, K= 0.20, ve to= -1.6313 şeklinde bulunmuştur. Kondisyon faktörü değerlerinin düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Populasyonu oluşturan bireylerin ise I yaşmda cinsel olgunlaştığı ulaştığı sanılmaktadır. Anahtar sözcükler: Biyolojisi, üremesi, balıkçılığı, Akdeniz hamsisi
In this study, it was aimed to determine the biological characteristics of Mediterranean anchovy which is avaible in Antalya Bay 438 samples had been collected in a 7 months period from november 1997 to may 1998 which had been cought by purse-seiner. The range of the lenght-weight, the age-sex composition,the relationship of the age-lengt and the age weight, the condition factor, reproduction and fisheries of this species were examined. Age composition of 407 samples were determined. Individuals t were between I and HI years old and 44.47% of them were I year old and 47.91% of them were U years old. Growth parameter estimates Loo= 33.77cm, K= 0.20, to= -1.6313 were accounted according to Von Bertalanfry. It was determined that the values of condition factors were low. It's supposed that individuals in population reached sexual maturation when they were one year old. Key words: Biology, reproduction, fisheries, Mediterranean anchovy
