dc.description.abstractIn this study, it is aimed to determine the current status of the fishing activity in the Bay of Sığacık and to determine the problems of the region fishermen and their interaction with other sectors operating in the Bay. This study is planned as a descriptive work. The fishing fleet was determined and monthly interviews were held with fishermen for one year between 2017 August and 2018 July. Catch composition, CPUE values and technical features of the fishing gears were detected from the product at landing spots. Technical designs of the fishing gears were drawn in conformity with FAO standarts by using MS Visio programme with scale. CPUE values were analyzed by using SPSS statiscally analysis programme. Red mullet gillnet and trammel nets, multi-purpose gillnet and trammel nets, longline, trammel entangling net and monofilament entangling net, 5 type handlines and bottom trawl nets are defined in the Bay of Sığacık. Gillnet and longline annual total catch quantity was found 28.12 tons. Deep trawl annual total catch quantity was found 173.52 tons. Gillnets caught mostly Bogue, Red mullet and Goatfishes, while longlines caught Gilthhead seabream, White seabream and Saddled seabream. Bottom trawl mostly caught Deep-water rose shrimp, Atlantic horse mackerel and European hake. Daily catch per unit effort values were found 4.21±1.84 kg´1000m-1 for red mullet gillnet, 58.41±18.49 kg´1000m-1 for Bogue gillnet, 2.97±1.08 kg´1000m-1 for multi-purpose trammel net and 43.70±12.04 kg´1000m-1 for entangling net. dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Sığacık Körfezi'ndeki balıkçılık faaliyetinin mevcut durumunu ortaya koymak ve yöre balıkçısının sorunlarını belirleyerek körfezde faaliyet gösteren diğer sektörler ile olan etkileşimini ortaya koymak hedeflenmiştir. Tanımlayıcı bir çalışma olması planlanmıştır. Yöredeki balıkçı filosu tespit edilerek rastlantısal örnekleme ile 2017 Ağustos-2018 Temmuz arasında olmak üzere bir yıl boyunca balıkçılarla aylık görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Karaya çıkarılan üründen av kompozisyonu ve CPUE değerleri belirlenmiş av araçlarının teknik çizimleri Microsof Visio programı ile yapılmıştır. Av araçlarının CPUE değerlerinin SPSS programı kullanılarak istatistiksel analizleri yapılmıştır Sığacık Körfezi'nde kullanılan sade ve fanyalı barbun uzatma ağları, çok amaçlı sade ve fanyalı uzatma ağları, paragat, sade ve fanyalı alamana ağları, 5 tip olta takımı ve dip trolü ağı tanımlanmıştır. Uzatma ağı ve paragat yıllık toplam av miktarı 28,12 ton olarak bulunmuştur. Dip trolü yıllık toplam av miktarı 173,52 ton olarak bulunmuştur. Körfezde uzatma ağı ile en çok avlanan üç tür Kupez, Barbun ve Tekir'dir. Paragat ile en çok avlanan türler Çipura, Sargos ve Melanur'dur. Dip trolünde en çok avlanan türler Derinsu pembe karidesi, İstavrit ve Bakalyaro'dur. Barbun uzatma ağı CPUE değeri 4,21±1,84 kg´1000m-1, Kupez uzatma ağı CPUE değeri 58,41±18,49 kg´1000m-1, çok amaçlı fanyalı uzatma ağı CPUE değeri 2,97±1,08 kg´1000m-1, Alamana(voli) ağı CPUE değeri 43,70±12,04, kg´1000m-1 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Paragat CPUE değeri 15,83±5,97 kg/1000 iğne olarak tespit edilmiştir.en_US
