Özet
1990’lı yılların ortalarından bu yana, Asya piyasalarındaki tüketime bağlı olarak, orkinos ticareti Akdeniz’de önemli bir artış göstermiştir. Orkinosların (Thunnus thynnus) ekonomik öneminin artması ve tüketiminin yükselmesi, orkinos kafes besiciliğinin gelişiminin önünü açmıştır. Bunun yanında işletmeler her an farklı boyutlarda taze olarak orkinos sağlayabilmektedir. Orkinos yetiştiriciliğindeki amaç besiye alınan balıkların etinin kısa sürede yağlandırılarak ağırlık artışının sağlanmasıdır. Orkinos besiciliği genel akuakültür yöntemlerine göre kendine özgü farklı özellikler taşımaktadır. Bu türün yetiştiriciliği üzerinde etkili en önemli faktörler: fiziko-kimyasal ve oseonolojik etkenler, toksikolojik faktörler ve pollusyon, beslemenin etkileri ve doğal düşmanlardır. Bu derlemede, orkinoslar ve orkinos kafes işletmeciliğinde olumsuz etkileri olan bu faktörler üzerinde durulmuştur.
The bluefin tuna trade in Mediterranean coastal waters has increased substancially since the mid 1990s, fallowing the demand from Asiatic markets. With the increasing economic importance of bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) and the need to supply a market on demand, the number of tuna farm is growing. These farms make it possible to supply fresh tuna of any size at any time. Tuna farming is defined as rearing tuna a short period in order to increase its commercial value by increasing fat contents. the concept of aquaculture is different from that of farming, and they must therefore be considered separetely. At this point, the main important factors are affect the tunas and firms are as fallows: physico-chemical and oceanologic effects, toxicologic and pollution factors, effects of feeding types and natural enemies. in Turkish coastal waters, the bluefin tuna trade has increased since the mid 2002. in this review, it is taken into account on some important affects and their damage of tuna and tuna fish farm
