Özet
Mevcut çalışma, yeşil şişe sineği, Lucilia sericata 2. ve 3. evre larvalarındaki immün sistem hücrelerinin ışık mikroskobuyla saptanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bunun için, yeşil şişe sineği larvalarının hemolenfinde bulunan hemosit tiplerinin ölçüm ve hesaplanmasında Wright'ın boyasıyla boyanmış yayma preparatlardan yararlanılmıştır. Hemosit tipleri morfolojik olarak ışık mikroskobunda incelenip büyüklükleri ölçülmüştür. Lucilia sericata larvalarının hemolenfinde prohemositler, plazmatositler, granülositler, adipohemositler ve önositoitler olarak beş farklı hemosit tipi tespit edilmiştir. Prohemositlerden kökenlendiği düşünülen diğer hemosit tiplerinin antimikrobiyal savunma mekanizmaları kapsamında fagositik aktivite, melanizasyon/kapsül oluşturma, pıhtı oluşturma ve yara iyileşmesinde önemli rolleri bulunmaktadır.
The study was conducted to detect immune system cells of green bottle fly, Lucilia sericata, with light microscopy. For this purpose, Wright's stain preparates were used to calculate measure and hemocytes types in hemolymph of Lucilia sericata. Hemocytes types were morphologically examined under a light microscope and the size of the cells was measured. Five types of hemocytes determined in the hemolymph of Lucilia sericata. These hemocytes are; prohemocytes, plasmatocytes, granulocytes, adipohemocytes and oenocytoids. The scope of antimicrobial defense mechanism of other species which are thought to originate from prohemocytes have been an important role on phagocytic activity, melanisation/formation of capsul and clots, and recovery of wounds.
