Özet
Ney çalgısının Mevlevi ekolü içinde mistik bir anlamı vardır. Günümüz popüler
müzik üretimlerinde Ney, Mevlevi müzik geleneğindeki kimliği dışında farklı müzikal
ve anlamsal kurgular içerisinde de kullanılmaktadır. Popüler kültür ürünü halinde ve
metalaşmış bir biçimde karşımıza çıkan Ney, Mevlana’nın mesnevisindeki edebi dilin
taklidi yoluyla oluşan mistisizm benzeri bir dil içinde ifade aracı olmuştur. “Popüler
Müzikte Ney’in Kullanımı ve Postmodern Yaklaşımlar” isimli bu çalışmada ney çalgısı,
günümüzdeki bazı popüler müzik kullanımlarında bu geleneğin deforme edildiği fikri
çerçevesinde ele alınmış ve bu fikir kitsch kavramı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.
The Ney instrument has a mystical meaning in the Mevlevi School. In today's popular music production, the Ney is used in different musical and semantic constructs besides its identity in the Mevlevi musical tradition. The Ney, which was encountered in a popular and productive fashion, became a means of expression in a language similar to mysticism, which emerged through the imitation of the literary language in Mevlana's mesnevi. In this study titled “Ney Use in Popular Music and Postmodern Approaches”, the Ney was evaluated within the framework of the concept of kitsch and the idea that this tradition was deformed in some popular music use.
