| dc.description.abstract | Toplumda bireyler arası ilişkilerin önemini ihtiva eden sosyal sermaye ekonomik kalkınmanın sağlanmasında yeni bir aktördür. Sosyal sermaye sosyal ilişkilerin önemine vurgu yapan ve sosyal normlar, sosyal ağlar, güven gibi unsurları içeren ekonomik kalkınma üzerinde katkıları barındıran bir kavramdır. Bu tezin amacı; sosyal sermaye ve ekonomik kalkınma ilişkisinden yola çıkarak sosyal sermayenin ekonomik kalkınma üzerine nasıl bir role sahip olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda seçilmiş 6 geçiş ekonomisi için 2005-2014 yılları arasında sosyal sermayenin ekomomik kalkınma üzerindeki etkisi panel veri analizi ile araştırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, bu ülkelerin sahip olduğu demokrasi düzeyinin ekonomik kalkınma üzerinde negatif, seçim özgürlüğü ve politika düzeyinin ise pozitif etkilere yol açtığı görülmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The social capital that shows the significance of the interindividual relations in the society is crucial actor in the provision of economic development. The social capital is a concept that emphasizes the momentousness of social relations and holds the economic development, which consists of the factors like social norms, social networks and trust. The aim of this thesis is to show how social capital play a role in economic development based on the relationship between social capital and economic development. For this purpose, data from 6 transition countries, between 2005 and 2014 were analyzed using panel data. Findings show that the democracy level of these countries has negative effects on economic development and the freedom of choice and politics have positive effects. | en_US |
