Özet
İnsanlar yaşamı boyunca iletişim kurmaya muhtaçtır. İnsanlarla etkileşimde mesajın karşı tarafa sağlıklı bir biçimde iletilmesi önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Doğru bir şekilde iletilen mesajla sağlıklı bir iletişim gerçekleşmiş olur. Romantik ilişkilerdeki iletişim ise partnerlerin birbirine duygu ve düşüncelerini, sözlü veya sözsüz bir biçimde iletmesi olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu etkileşim sürecini etkileyen bir faktör ise romantik ilişkideki bireylerin şemaya sahip olması ya da olmamasıdır. Şemalar, bireyin sahip olduğu kendisiyle, çevresiyle ve dış dünyayla alakalı olan kalıp düşüncesi ya da bakış açısı olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu düşünceler genellikle değişmesi zor olan düşüncelerdir. Bu çalışmada en az bir yıldır ilişkisi olan bireylerin erken dönem uyum bozucu şemalarının iletişim biçimlerine etkisine bakılmıştır. Çalışmada karma desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel kısmında 151 katılımcıya Young Şema Ölçeği Kısa Form-3 uygulanmıştır. Nitel kısımda ise amaçlı örneklem tekniğiyle seçilen 10 katılımcıya görüşme soruları yöneltilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiş sonucunda ise erken dönem uyumsuz şema alanlarından yüksek ve düşük puan alan katılımcıların iletişim biçimi noktasında Duygu paylaşımı, Fikir ayrılıkları ve Kendini açma temaları özelinde farklı stratejiler izledikleri bulunmuştur.
People need to communicate throughout their lives. It is important to convey the message to the other party in a healthy way in interaction with people. A healthy communication is achieved with a correctly conveyed message. Communication in romantic relationships can be defined as the verbal or nonverbal communication of the feelings and thoughts of the partners to each other. One factor affecting this interaction process is whether individuals in a romantic relationship have a schema or not. Schemas can be defined as the pattern thinking or point of view that an individual has about himself, his environment and the outside world. These thoughts are often thoughts that are difficult to change. In this study, the effect of early maladaptive schemas on communication styles of individuals who have been in a relationship for at least one year was examined. Mixed design was used in the study. In the quantitative part of the study, the Young Schema Scale Short Form-3 was applied to 151 participants. In the qualitative part, interview questions were asked to 10 participants selected by purposive sampling technique.. It was found that participants who scored high and low in early maladaptive schema domains followed different strategies in terms of communication style, in terms of Emotion sharing, Opinion differences and Self-disclosure themes.
