Cryptosporidiosis immun sistemi sağlam insanlarda kendini sınırlayan diyareyle karakterize iken immün sistemi bozulmuş hastalarda diger GIS şikayetleriyle birlikte görülen uzun süreli ve ciddi diyareye sebep olan zoonotik bir hastalıktır. Bu olgu sunumunda tanisi beklenenden daha hafif ve kisa süreli Cryptosporidium enfeksiyonu sonrasında konulmuş, hipogamaglobulinemik çocuk hasta anlatılmaktadır.
Cryptosporidiosis is a zoonosis, characterized by a self-limited diarrhea in immunocompetent people. Immunodeficient patients, typically, have long-lasting, severe diarrhea accompanied by other GIS disorders. Here we. report a hypogammaglobulinemic child for whom a diagnosis was made after a Cryptosporidium infection which was less severe with a shorter course than was expected.
