IV ÖZET 1. Bu çalışmada, Karşıyaka Devlet Hastanesi ve Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Mikoloji laboratuvarlarına başvuran hastalardan izole edilen Trichophyton rub rum suşlarının in vitro koşullarda griseofulvine karşı MİK (Minimum İnhibisyon Konsantrasyonu) değerlerinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. 2. Karşıyaka Devlet Hastanesi ve Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Mikoloji laboratuvarlarında izole edilen 100 Trichophyton rubrum susu materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. 3. 84 susun Agar Dilüsyon Yöntemi kullanılarak MİK değerleri belirlenmiş; 16 izolat kontrol plaklarında üreme göstermediklerinden değerlendirmeye alınmamıştır. 4. Duyarlılık testi yapılan Trichophyton rubrum strainlerine 64.0, 32.0, 16.0, 8.0, 4.0, 2.0, 1.0, 0.50 ve 0.25 mg/l'lik griseofulvin konsantrasyonları uygulanmıştır. 5. 84 izolatın MİK değerleri, 9 suş için 8.0 mg/1; 8 suş için 4.0 mg/1; 16 suş için 2.0 mg/1; 27 suş için 1.0 mg/1; 20 suş için 0.50 mg/1; ve 4 suş için ise 0.25 mg/1 olarak saptanmıştır. 6. Trichophyton rubrum suşlarının hepsi, 64.0, 32.0, 16.0 mg/l'lik griseofulvin konsantrasyonlarında tamamen inhibe olmuşlardır. V ABSTRACT 1. This study has been conducted on the patients who had came to Mycology laboratories of Karşıyaka State Hospital and Egean University Faculty of Medicine. It has been aimed to determine MIC values of Trichphyton rubrum strains isolated from the patiens to griseofulvine by Agar dilution method in vitro conditions. 2. In this study 100 Trichophyton rubrum strains isolated from above laboratories mentioned were used as material. 3. MIC values of these 84 isolates have been determined by agar dilution method but 16 of these isolates were not evaluated because of no growth were observed. 4. The following griseofulvin concentrations 64.0, 32.0, 16.0, 8.0, 4.0, 2.0, 1.0, 0.50 and 0.25 mg/1, have been used in the susceptibility tests of Trichophyton rubrum strains. 5. The MIC values of the 84 strains were determined as follows : for the 9 strains as 8.0 mg/1; for the 8 strains as 4.0 mg/1; for the 16 strains as 2.0 mg/1; for the 27 strains as 1.0 mg/1; for the 20 strains as 0.50 mg/1; and for the 4 strains as 0.25 mg/1. 6. All of the 84 Trichophyton rubrum strains have been inhibited in 64.0, 32.0 and 16.0 mg/1 griseofulvine concentrations. Keywords : Trichophyton rubrum, susceptibility test, in vitro, griseofulvin.
