dc.description.abstractGünümüzde İzmir'in önemli ilçelerinden biri olan Tire, Türk tarihinin Beylikler ve Osmanlı Devleti dönemlerinde de müstesna bir yer işgal etmiştir. Osmanlı Devleti'nin yıkılışı ve ardından Cumhuriyetin ilanı ülkenin her yerinde olduğu gibi Tire'de de bazı değişimleri beraberinde getirmiştir.?Cumhuriyet döneminde Tire (1923?1938)? adlı tez çalışması ile Tire'de bu on beş yıllık süreç içinde idari, iktisadi, sosyal ve kültürel alanlarda yaşanan gelişmelerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır.Çalışmamızda, Tire'nin coğrafi özelliklerine değinilerek ilçe tarihinin kısa bir özeti yapıldıktan sonra idari ve nüfus yapısı ortaya konulmuştur. İdari olarak özellikle Tire ilçesinin merkezi dikkate alınarak, bağlı bulunan köyler idari taksimat içerisinde ele alınmıştır Tire şehircilik açısından incelenirken, Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında ilçede yapılan imar faaliyetleri ve kent yapılanması konu edilmiştir.Batı Anadolu'nun parlak bir geçmişe sahip bu ilçesinin eğitim, kültür ve insan hayatına dair çeşitli yönlerini içine alan sosyal hayatı ele alınmıştır. Tire'de bulunan okullar, kurslar, dernekler; sanat, spor ve sağlık alanında yaşanan gelişmeler tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca gelenek ve görenekler ile kutlamalar ele alınarak halkın tarihten bugüne aktardığı değerler de vurgulanmıştır.İlçe ekonomisinin tarıma dayalı olduğu bilinmektedir. Ziraat başta olmak üzere dokumacılık, el sanatları ve küçük sanayi işletmeleri de Tire'nin iktisadi hayatında önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. İlçenin başlıca ekonomik faaliyetleri ile ticaret hayatı ele alınarak Tire'nin iktisadi yapısı ortaya konulmuşturen_US
dc.description.abstractTire which is one of the important counties of Izmir have had an exceptional place in Period of Beyliks and Ottoman Empire periods of Turkish history. The collapse of Ottoman and declaration of Republic have brought some changes in Tire like in every other place of Turkey.With the thesis study called ?Tire in Republic Period (1923-1938)?, it was aimed to express the changes in administrative, economic, social and cultural fields experienced during these 15 years of period.In the study, after a short summary of the history of district by mentioning geographical features of Tire, structure of administration and population was put forward. Administratively, especially the city centre of Tire was taken into regard and its villages were considered in divisions. While Tire was considered in the sense of urbanism, reconstruction activities and urban structuring carried out in the early years of Republic was mentioned.Educational, cultural and social aspect of the district which has a bright history in Western Anatolia was considered. Schools, courses, associations in Tire; developments in the fields of art, sport and health were determined. Moreover customs, traditions and festivals were mentioned and values of society were expressed in this way.It is known that the economy of district is based on agriculture. Weaving, handicrafts and small scale industry being agriculture at the first place have important in the economic life of Tire. Economic structure of Tire was expressed by mentioning primary economic activities and commercial life of the district.en_US
