Özet
Bu araştırma, 2019-2020 ve 2020-2021 yıllarında döneminde Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat
Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü’nün Bornova/İzmir’deki deneme alanlarında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, dört tek yıllık çim çeşidinde (Elif, Big Boss, Baquend ve Medoacus) farklı azot dozlarının (0, 7.5, 15, 22.5 ve 30 kg/da) ot verimi ve silaj kalitesine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla başaklanma gün sayısı, bitki boyu, sap kalınlığı, yatma durumu, yeşil ot verimi, kuru ot verimi, kuru madde oranı, ham kül oranı gibi ot verimi özellikleri yanında silaj kuru madde oranı, silaj pH’sı, silaj ham kül oranı, silaj ham protein oranı, silaj NDF (nötrde çözünmeyen lif) oranı, silaj ADF (asitte çözünmeyen lif) oranı, silaj nispi yem değeri, laktik asit oranı, asetik asit oranı ve bütirik asit oranı gibi silaj kalitesi özellikleri de saptanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; gerek erkencilik ve verim bakımından, gerekse de silaj kalite kriterleri bakımından kullanılan çeşitler ve azot dozu uygulamaları arasında farklılıkların ortaya çıktığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar topluca değerlendirildiğinde hem verim, hem de çevre kirlenmesi ve ekonomiklik bakımından Ege Bölgesi sahil kuşağında silaj amaçlı tek yıllık çim yetiştiriciliğinde dekara 15 kg azot dozu uygulaması ile Elif ya da Medoacus çeşitlerinin yetiştirilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.
This study was conducted in the research fields of Field Crops Department of Agriculture Faculty, Ege University, Bornova/Izmir during 2019-2021 years. In this study, annual ryegrass cultivars (Elif, Big Boss, Baquend and Medoacus) were tested for some herbage and silage characteristics under different nitrogen doses (0, 7.5, 15, 22.5 and 30 kg/da). For this purpose, number of days of heading, plant height, stem thickness, lodging status, herbage yield, hay yield, dry matter ratio, ash ratio were tested as forage yield characteristics in addition to silage dry matter ratio, silage pH, silage ash ratio, silage crude protein ratio, silage NDF (neutral detergent fiber) ratio, silage ADF (acid detergent fiber) ratio, silage relative feed value, lactic acid ratio, acetic acid ratio and butyric acid ratio as silage quality characteristics. According to the results obtained, it was found that there are differences between the cultivars used and nitrogen dose applications in terms of earliness and yield and silage quality criteria. When the results are evaluated in general, it was concluded that the cultivars Elif or Medoacus can be grown with the application of a nitrogen dose of 150 kg per hectare in annual ryegrass cultivation for silage purposes in Aegean coastal region ecological conditions in terms of yield, environmental pollution and economy.
