dc.description.abstractHayvanlar alemi içerisinde, Arthropoda şubesinin Crustacea altşubesi içerisinde bulunan Mysida takımı, dünya üzerinde bilinen 160 cins ve yaklaşık 1000 türe sahiptir. Akdeniz sisteminde, 95 kadar tür ile temsil edilen bu grubun, geçmişte yayınlanmış olan konuyla ilgili türleri içeren çalışmalara göre ülkemiz kıyılarından da 35 türü bilinmektedir. Mysidler, kozmopolit bir dağılıma sahiptirler. Türlerin çoğunluğu deniz formları olmaları ile birlikte tatlı sularda da yüzde on kadar tür ile temsil edilmektedirler. Bulundukları ekosistemlerde diğer canlıların besinlerini oluşturduklarından ekolojik açıdan önemli bir yere sahiptirler. Bu ekolojik önemlerinin yanı sıra, çok çeşitli kirletici maddelere karşı hassastırlar ve bu nedenle bazen su kalitesini izlemek için biyoindikatör olarak da kullanılmaktadırlar. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma sayesinde, Türkiye genelinde yeni keşfedilenlerle birlikte 38 mysid türüne ilişkin ayrıntılı bilgiler içeren kapsamlı bir atlas ve tür tanımlama anahtarını hazırlanmıştır. Bu kaynak, araştırmacılar ve gelecek nesiller için değerli bir kaynak olam ile birlikte, bu çalışma alanında araştırmalar yapanlar için önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır
dc.description.abstractWithin the animal kingdom, the Mysida order, located within the Crustacea subphylum of the Arthropoda branch, has 160 genera and approximately 1000 species known in the world. This group, which is represented by approximately 95 species in the Mediterranean system, has 35 species known from the coasts of our country, according to studies on related species published in the past. Mysids have a cosmopolitan distribution. Although the majority of the species are marine forms, they are also represented by about ten percent of species in fresh waters. They have an ecologically important place as they provide food for other living things in the ecosystems they are found in. Apart from this ecological importance, they are sensitive to a wide range of contaminants and are therefore sometimes used as bioindicators to monitor water quality. As a result, thanks to this study, a comprehensive atlas and species identification key containing detailed information on 38 mysid species, including newly discovered ones throughout Turkey, has been prepared. This source is a valuable resource for researchers and future generations, and provides important information for those doing research in this field.
