Özet
Kent; içinde doğal özellikleri, mimari özellikleri ve bunların sosyo ekonomik gelişmelere bağlı olarak kültürel faktörlerle birlikte geliştiği ve örtüştüğü açık alanlardan oluşmaktadır. Mimari yapılar dışında kalan açık alanlar kamunun faydalandığı yeşil alanlar kentin yeşil dokusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu tezde Manisa ili kent merkezi ilçe sınırları dahilinde yer alan kamusal açık yeşil alanların yeterliliği ve geliştirilme olanakları araştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda Manisa ili merkezinde bulunan Şehzadeler ve Yunusemre ilçelerinin sahip olduğu kamusal açık yeşil alanlar literatür bilgileri ve kamu kurum kuruluşları ile yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda listelenmiş; kişi başına düşen yeşil alan miktarı Türkiye ve Avrupa ölçeğinde yer alan kriterler doğrultusunda irdelenmiştir.
City consists of openspaces in which natural features, architectural features and cultural factors develop and overlapdepending on socio-economic developments. Green areas where the public benefit from the openspaces other than the architectural structures constitute the green texture of the city. In this thesis, the adequacy and development oppurtunities of public open gren areas within the city center of Manisa city center were investigated. In this context, public open green spaces of Sehzadeler and Yunusemre districts in Manisa city center are listed as a result of literature information and interviews with public institutions. The gren area per person amounts are dealt with in accordance with the criteria in Turkey and Europe.
