Özet
Son yıllarda kentleşme ile insanlar doğal ortamlarda dinlenme arayışı içine girmişler ve doğal alanları tercih eder olmuşlardır. Volkanik olgular Türkiye jeolojik doğasını kültürel yaşama taşımakta ve jeomorfolojinin kendine özgü doğal yapıları ile görünümü biçimlendiren birçok ilginç örnek sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmayla volkanizmanın oluşturduğu önemli jeomorfolojik ögeler Nevşehir Acıgöl Kalderası Kalecitepe ve Acıgöl Maarları örneğinde incelenmiş, bölgede jeolojik mirasa ilişkin farkındalığın oluşturulması ve jeoturizm için alternatif bir alan kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır.
In recent years, urbanization has led to people to search for natural places for repose, shifting their choice towards natural areas. Introducing the geological nature of Turkey to cultural life, volcanic phenomena present numerous interesting examples illustrating its natural formations and landscape peculiar to geomorfology. Focusing specifically on the cases of Nevşehir Acıgöl Caldera, Kalecitepe and Acıgöl Maars, the present study analyzes important geomorfological components formed by volcanic activities. It further aims to raise awareness regarding the geological heritage in the region, thus developing an alternative area for geotourism.
