Y Floriculture which has been undertaken by some people as a hobby in order to cope with daily stresses, also play an important role in the economies of many countries. In our country, in accordance with this general trend, flori culture, stimulated by favourable environmental conditions and attractive selling prices, has been gaining importance, but needs more stimulus. In this work, the effects of Cytozyme Crop Plus on Gladi olus sp., Chrysanthemum sy and Freesia sp. floriculture, has been investigated for the first time, as proposed uith the aim of enhancing cut flower production. Gladiolus grown in field conditions was sprayed only once in growth phase with 3D ppm Cytozyme Crop Plus, whereas greenhouse grown Gladiolus, Chrysanthemum and Freesia sp. were sprayed twine, first in the growth phase and second in the beginning of flowering, with 3D ppm and GD ppm so lutions of the same compound, respectively. The results showed that Cytozyme Crop Plus application to pink-flowered gladioli, has caused in increase in the flo wer stalk length, flower number, chlorophyll content, dry matter and potassium content, led to the earliness in flo wering, but not affected the petal pigments and nitrogen and phosphorus contents. No change has been observed in the flowering time, flower numbers and l\l and P contents in field-grown yellow-flowered gladioli, but a decrease was seen in flower stalk length and dry matter contents. Also an increase was observed in chlorophyll, potassium and petal pigment contents. Application of SD ppm to greenhouse-grown white-flowered gladioli has not causud a modification in flower number, dry matter content and po- kktassium CDntent, but inhibited flowering completely, while 3D ppm led tD an earlines af fİDuering an to an increase in chlorophyll content, and caused to a decrease in flo wer stalk length and l\l and P contents. In greenhouse grown chrysanthemmas, 60 ppm Cytozyme Crop Plus application has caused different responses in res pect to pigment and mineral metabolism as well as growth and development. Concluding, we believe that further and more detailed re search work is needed in order to reach to a clarifica tion of the problem. k$en_US
