Özet
Fasiyoskapulohumeral sendrom, karakteristik olarak fasiyal ve omuz kuşağı kaslarını etkileyen bir grup nörojenik ve miyojenik bozukluğu içerir. Bu sendromun klinik bulgularının anlaşılması iyi dökümante edilmiş olguların ve nörolojik muayenenin eksikliği nedeniyle yetersiz kalmıştır. Bu çalışmada, fasiyoskapulohumeral sendromlu yedi olguluk bir grupta klinik ve histopatolojik özellikler belirlenmiştir.
Facioscapulohumeral syndrome constitutes a group of myogenic and neurogenic disorders that characteristically affects the facial and shoulder girdle muscles. An exactly understanding of the clinical manifestations of facioscapulohumeral syn¬drome has been hampered by the small number of well documented cases and the incomplete neurological examination. In this study, the clinical patterns and the histopathological features in a group of seven cases with facioscapulohumeral syndrome have been described.
