Özet
Mikrobiyal aktivitenin mevsimsel bazı değişiklikler göstermesi, bitki gelişimi ve bitki besin maddelerinin korunması açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu proje kapsamında farklı bitki örtüsü altındaki topraklardan kış, ilkbahar, yaz ve sonbahar dönemlerinde iki farklı derinlikten toprak örnekleri alınarak, toprak mikrobiyal biyomas C, N ve P’ u ile mineralize olabilir C, N ve P miktarları mevsimsel bazda incelenmiştir. 2009–2010 yıllarında E.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi Menemen Araştırma Uygulama ve Üretim Çiftliği arazisinden farklı bitki örtüsü altındaki arazilerden (çayır mera, zeytinlik, buğday ve buğdaymısır- soya rotasyonu altındaki tarla) alınan toprak örnekleri araştırmanın materyalini oluşturmuştur. Ekim, Ocak, Nisan ve Temmuz aylarında alınan bu toprak örneklerinde; toprak solunumu, mikrobiyal biyokütle-C, N ve P’ u, mineralize azot formları ve alınabilir fosfor miktarları saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; en yüksek mikrobiyal biyokütle çayır mera arazisinden alınan toprak örneklerinde, en düşük mikrobiyal biyokütle ise buğday ekili araziden alınan toprak örneklerinde belirlenmiştir. Üst toprak tabakasında (0-15 cm), alt toprak tabakasına (15-30 cm) oranla daha yüksek mikrobiyal biyokütle belirlenmiştir. Mevsimsel bazda ise en yüksek mikrobiyal biyokütle Nisan ayına ait topraklarda, en düşük mikrobiyal biyokütle ise Ocak ayına ait topraklarda saptanmıştır.
Soil microbial activity can affect the ability of soil to supply nutrients to plants through soil organic matter turnover. Limited data, however, exist on the magnitude of seasonal changes in soil microbial biomass and mineralizable C, N and P in different agricultural ecosystems to ascertain the practical significance of these fluctuations on crop growth and nutrient conservation. It was determined seasonal changes of microbial biomass-C, N and P, and amounts of mineralizable N and total P in soils under different plan covers and taken different dates. Soil samples were taken from a pasture, an olive plantation, a wheat field and a rotated wheat-maize-legume field in October, January, April and July. In these samples; microbial biomass-C, N and P, soil respiration, mineralizable nitrogen forms and available P were determined. According to the results; the highest and the lowest microbial biomass were determined in pasture and wheat field, respectively. It was found higher microbial biomass in top soil layer (0-15 cm depth) than bottom soil layer (15-30 cm depth). In addition, the highest microbial biomass was observed in soils taken in April and the lowest microbial biomass in soils taken in January.
