70 control samples. The highest acidity values were determined in fruits of the thrice urea - treated trees. In KNO3 treated parcels, eventhough samples derived from twice KNO3 applied trees gave lower (0.700) acidty values than control (0.790), in general a slight increase was observed. The value obtained for control samples (0.790) ranked the lowest with in a comparison mad between the control and the urea treatments, where as, the second lo west if all the treatments are taken in to consideration.- 69 - 4) Hundred fruit weight values were also determined. The highest value was found in samples taken from trees treated either. 4 times with KN03 (378.61 kg) or 2 times with urea (338.56 kg). The lowest value (228.75 kg) was obtained on control trees. 5) Fruit flesh weight / pit weight ratios of the 4 times, KNO3 (3.69) or urea (3.98) treated trees exceeded all other variants. The lowest (2.95) was again in control samples. 6) The oil content (%) was found to be the highest in samples collected either from trees treated 3 times with KNO3 (19.48 % ) or 4 times with urea (18.11 % ). Control trees performed the lowest and ranked the lost among all treatments with 14.60 %. The oil content (%) of KN03 treated trees found to be higher than urea treated ones. 7) When the fatty acid composition of the extracted oil was examined, it was found that Oleic acid (%) decreased with nutrient spraying, where as, the percentages of Palmitic and Linoleic acid increase. The statistical analysis of the data proved that the percentages of other fatty acids did not change significantly by the tested nutrient solutions. The change in the Palmitic acid was also unsignificant in urea treatments 8) As the result of the treatments, the free acidity of the fruits from urea treated trees was found to exceed the70 control samples.
