| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Projenin amacı okul sağlığı hemşireliği rol ve işlevlerini uygulayarak, öğrencilere sürekliliği olan okul sağlığı hizmetlerini sunmak, sonuçlarını değerlendirmek ve okul sağlığı hemşireliğinin tüm okullarda yaygınlaştırılması için model oluşturmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel, izlem ve girişimsel tipteki araştırma İzmir ili Bornova ilçesindeki bir ilkokulda yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evrenini 2294 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrenci İzlem Formu, Görme Taraması Formu, Öğretmenlerin Görme Taramasına İlişkin Geri Bildirim Formu, Çocuklarda Sağlık Algı ve Sağlık Davranışları Ölçeği ve Çocuklarda Sağlık Denetim Odağı Ölçeği veri toplama araçları olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma (Proje ID: 818) Ege Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü Proje Koordinatörlüğü tarafından desteklenmiştir. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %42.8’inde burunda tıkanıklık, akıntı ya da kanama, %30’unda hırıltılı solunum, öksürük, sekresyon, %20.3’ünde dişetlerinde kanama, %18.5’inde öksürük, %17.8’inde tonsillerde şişlik gibi belirti ve bulgular belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin %22.8’inin karanlıktan korktuğu, %10.4’ünün uykusuzluk sorununun olduğu, %8.4’ünün tırnak yediği saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin %7.7’si fazla kilolu ve %8.8’i obez olarak bulunmuştur. Yaş grubu ve sınıf düzeyi arttıkça fazla kilolu ve obezite görülme sıklığı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde artmıştır (x2=8.432, p=0.015; x2=9.520, p=0.023). Snellen E testi ile yapılan görme keskinliği taraması sonucunda; öğrencilerde kırma kusuru prevalansı %18.9 bulunmuştur. Okul hemşiresi tarafından verilen sağlık eğitimi öğrencilerin olumlu sağlık davranışlarını ve sağlık denetimlerini geliştirmiştir (p< 0.001). Sonuçlar: Sektörler arası işbirliğine dayalı geliştirilen okul sağlığı hemşireliği hizmetleri modeli ile öğrenciler tüm sağlık sorunlarında erken tanı fırsatı bularak veliler, okul yönetimi ve diğer sektörlerle iş birliği içinde sevkleri sağlanmış, olumlu sağlık davranışları ve kendi sağlıklarından sorumlu olma bilinci kazanmışlardır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Objective: The aim of the project is to implement school health nursing roles and functions, to provide continuous school health services to students, to evaluate the results and to create a model for disseminating school health nursing in all schools. Material and Method: The study was conducted in a primary school in Bornova in Izmir. The research population of the study consisted of 2294 students. Student Follow-up Form, Vision Screening Form, Feedback Form for Teachers' Vision Screening, Health Perception and Health Behaviors Scale in Children and Health Locus of Control Scale were used as data collection tools. This research (Project ID: 818) was supported by Ege University Rectorate Project Coordinator. Findings: Signs and symptoms such as nasal obstruction, discharge or bleeding in 42.8%, wheezing, cough, secretion in 30%, bleeding in gums in 20.3%, cough in 18.5%, and swelling in tonsils in 17.8% were determined. It was found that 22.8% of the students were afraid of the dark, 10.4% had insomnia and 8.4% had nails. 7.7% of the students were overweight and 8.8% were obese. The incidence of overweight and obesity increased significantly with age group and grade level (x2 = 8.432, p = 0.015; x2 = 9.520, p = 0.023). As a result of visual acuity scanning performed with Snellen E test; The prevalence of refractive error was found to be 18.9%. Health education provided by the school nurse improved students' positive health behaviors and health controls (p <0.001). Conclusion: With the model of school health nursing services developed based on intersectoral cooperation, students were given the opportunity of early diagnosis of all health problems and were referred in cooperation with parents, school management and other sectors, and gained awareness of positive health behaviors and their own health. | en_US |
