Özet
ÖZET HEMODİYALİZ TEDAVİSİ ALAN BİREYLERDE SIVI KONTROLÜNE UYUM İLE HASTALIK SEMPTOMLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ AMAÇ: Bu araştırma en az 6 aydır hemodiyalize giren kronik böbrek yetmezliği olan hastalarda sıvı kontrolüne uyum ile semptomlar arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla planlanmıştır. GEREÇ VE YÖNTEM: Bu araştırma tanımlayıcı tipte olup Ağustos 2021- Ağustos 2022 tarihleri arasında Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Diyaliz Ünitesi, Manisa Şehir Hastanesi Diyaliz Ünitesi en az 6 aydır hemodiyaliz tedavisi gören kronik böbrek yetmezliği olan 70 hasta ile yürütülmüştür. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 25.0.
SUMMARY INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADAPTATION TO LIQUID CONTROL AND DISEASE SYMPTOMS IN INDIVIDUALS TAKING HEMODIALYSIS OBJECTIVE: This study was planned to examine the relationship between compliance with fluid control and symptoms in patients with chronic renal failure who have been on hemodialysis for at least 6 months. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This descriptive study was conducted with 70 patients with chronic renal failure who had undergone hemodialysis treatment for at least 6 months in Celal Bayar University Dialysis Unit, Manisa City Hospital Dialysis Unit between August 2021 and August 2022. In the evaluation of the data, IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics for windows, version 25.0. Armonk , NY: IBM Corp. .) was calculated with the help of the package program. RESULTS: The knowledge sub-dimension score of the patients from the fluid control scale was 17.37 ± 1.95 (p:0,613), the behavior sub-dimension score was 25.21± 4.01(p: 0,634) and the attitude sub-dimension score was 12.09 ± 3.85 (p: 0,843). Dialysis The mean score obtained from the symptom index scale was calculated as 20.77± 14.62 (P: 0,835). According to our research, hemodialysis patients' caring about fluid control (H: 24,100; p: 0.000), reasons for caring fluid control (H: 19,171; p: 0,000), compliance with fluid control ( H:- 5,446; p: 0.000), compliance with fluid control A significant difference was found between the difficulty level (H:25,976; p:0.000) and the amount of fluid consumption (H: 42,790; P:0.000) and the mean scores of the dialysis symptom index. It was found that the most common symptoms experienced by patients were feeling tired or decreased energy, shortness of breath and muscle cramps. A difference was found between how much the patients care about fluid control, their compliance with fluid control, their knowledge of how much fluid should be consumed between two dialysis, and dialysis symptom index mean scores. It was determined that the patients experienced less symptoms as their compliance with fluid control increased. v RESULTS: In this study, it was determined that it is an important method that dialysis patients should comply with fluid control. As a result of the compliance of the patients with fluid control, it was determined that the symptoms experienced before, during and after dialysis would decrease. KEYWORDS: hemodialysis, fluid control and symptom management,
