Özet
Bu çalışmada; İzmir kentinde il sağlık müdürlüğüne bağlı devlet, S.S.K., üniversite ve özel hastanelerin bahçeleri, üniversite öğretim üyelerinin görüşlerinden, mevcut çalışmalardan ve yerli ve yabancı çeşitli literatürlerden yararlanarak oluşturulan hastane bahçelerinin tasarım ve planlama kriterleri doğrultusunda incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Eksiklikler belirlenerek optimal koşulların sağlanabilmesi için gereken düzenlemeler ve yönlendirmeler ortaya konmuştur. Bu amaçla, İzmir ilinde bulunan hastane bahçelerinin konstrüksiyon, malzeme, bitkilendirme, güvenlik, tasarım ve planlama bakımından uygunlukları araştırılmış ve eksiklikleri saptanmıştır. 20 adet hastane bahçesi incelemesi sonucu, hiçbirinin optimal koşulu sağlamadığı, tasarım ve planlama, içerdikleri donatı ve tesisler açısından çoğunluğunun yetersiz durumda olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Karşılaştırmalar yerli ve yabancı literatürlerde yer alan standartlara göre yapılmıştır. Literatür incelemeleri sonucunda kriterler ve düzenlemeler belirlenmiş ve gerekli yönlendirmeler yapılmıştır. In this study examining the gardens of private, university and government hospitals that are under Izmir city department of health according to the ideas of university stuff, existing studies and the designing and planning criterias of hospital gardens defined by literatures. The deficiencies are determined and the solutions for these deficiencies were exposed. For this reason, construction, equipment, plantation, security, designing and planning of the hospitals in Izmir city were investigated and the deficiencies were detected. The inspectation of 20 hospitals it is found that none of these hospitals in the optimal conditions and most of them lack the equipments and instutions. Comparisons were done according to the standarts defined in native and foreign literatures, and due to this work the solutions were stated, and the necessary guiding was made.
