dc.description.abstractÖZET Kıbrıs Evkaf Dairesi arşivinde bulunan elli dört Şer'i sicil içerisinden 17 Numaralı Kadı Sicil Defteri' nin ele alındığı bu tez çalışmasında giriş bölümünde sicilin tarihi ve kapsamı ele alınmış ve bu bölüm içerisinde sicilin tutulduğu tarihler arasında Kıbrıs'ın siyasi tarihi de irdelenmiştir. Sicilin okunmasıyla ortaya çıkan bilgiler, ikinci bölümde, mevcut tarihi kaynaklar ile karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiş; mahkemeler, gerek personeli gerek davalar ve kayıtları açısından ele alınmış ve çeşitli kaynaklardaki tanımlar sicilde ortaya çıkan bilgilerle karşılaştırılarak veya örnek alınarak belli sonuçlara varılmaya çalışılmıştır. Metin başlığı altındaki üçüncü bölümde ise sicildeki kayıtların ve davaların özetleriyle, sicilin latin harflerine çevirisi yer almıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise 17 Numaralı Kadı Sicili' ndeki kayıtlardan ve davalardan çıkan sonuçlar özetlenerek Osmanlı Devleti' nde yapılan reformların Kıbrıs'taki yansımaları ele alınmıştır. 316en_US
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT In this thesis, the "Cadi Register Book"; number seventeen is handled among fifty four Sheri Register Books found in Cyprus Evkaf Office. In the introduction chapter, the history of the register book as well as the political history of Cyprus during the dates this register book is written, are analysed. The data collected by reading the register book, is collected and compared by the existing historical bibliogaphy, in the second chapter. In this chapter, the courts are handled according to their staff and the cases. The definitions in the "Cadi Register Book" are compared by existing definitions in other historical bibliografy and results are explained by the author. The third chapter named "text" includes the registrations in the Cadi Register Book and the summaries of cases as well as the text written with latin letters. In the final chapter, the conclusions derived from the registrations and cases in the seventeenth Cadi Register Book are summarised and the reflections of refomations in Ottoman society to Cyprus are handled. 317en_US
