Özet
Sanayide gerçekleşen hızlı ve kontrolsüz gelişim beraberinde doğaya verilen tahribatı getirmektedir. Bu durum zaman içerisinde yaşam alanlarını ve insanları etkilemektedir. Özellikle kalabalık şehir hayatını paylaşan insanlar, rekreatif gereksinimlerini giderebilmek için doğayla bütünleşik alanlara ihtiyaç duymaktadırlar. Tüm dünyada sanayi atıkları, kanalizasyon atıkları, ulaşım kanalı veya enerji üretim kaynağı için kullanılan akarsular; son yıllarda gelişen ekolojik bilinç neticesinde birçok kentsel gelişim projesinin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu projeler kimi zaman habitat renovasyonu, kimi zaman sosyal aktivite, kimi zaman ise sportif faaliyetlere yönelik temellere dayanmaktadır. Fakat tüm bu temellerin üzerinde, akarsu kıyıları birer aktif veya pasif rekreasyon alanına dönüşmekte, kentin ve kentlinin vakit geçirebileceği birer cazibe merkezi haline gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, akarsuların rekreasyon kavramına olan olumlu etkileri irdelenmiş olup, Bornova Aşık Veysel Rekreasyon Alanı özelinde detaylı olarak ortaya konulmuştur.
The rapid and uncontrolled development in industry brings with it the damage caused to nature.This situation affects living spaces and people over time.Especially people who share the crowded city life need nature integrated areas to meet their recreational needs. Water used for industrial wastes, sewage wastes, transport channels or energy production sources all over the world; As a result of the ecological consciousness that has developed in recent years, it forms the basis of many urban development projects.These projects are sometimes based on habitat renovations, sometimes social activities and sometimes sportive activities.However, on all these foundations, the coasts of the river turn into an active or passive recreation area and become a center of attraction for the city and its inhabitants. In this study, the positive effects of rivers on the concept of recreation are discussed and detailed in the case of BornovaAşıkVeysel Recreation Area.
