dc.description.abstractEskişehir ili, Han İlçesi Yazılıkaya Köyü sınırları içerisinde yer alan Yazılıkaya/Midas Vadisi günümüzde daha çok vadi içerisinde bulunan Phryg Anıtları ile bilinmektedir. Bölgedeki ilk çalışmalar W. M. Leake tarafından vadi içerisinde bulunan anıtların incelenmesi ile başlamıştır. Vadinin kuzey girişinde Akpara Kale, güneydoğusunda ise Gökgöz Kale, Pişmiş Kale ve Kocabaş Kale yer almaktadır. Vadi içerisinde gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar daha çok Phryg, Helenistik ve Roma Dönemleri ile sınırlı kalmış olup; özellikle tarihöncesi dönemlerin anlaşılması için yapılan çalışmalar çok azdır. Yazılıkaya Vadisi içerisinde 2017-2018 yılları arasında Anadolu Üniversitesi Arkeoloji Bölümü’nden Rahşan Tamsü Polat ve ekibi tarafından gerçekleştirilen yüzey araştırmalarında Phryg, Helenistik ve Roma Dönemlerine ait buluntuların yanında Paleolitik Dönem, Neolitik, Kalkolitik ve Tunç Çağı buluntuları da ele geçmiş ve bölgenin çok daha erken dönemlerde de iskân edildiği ortaya çıkarılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractYazılıkaya / Midas Valley, which is located within the boundaries of Yazılıkaya Village of the Han District of Eskişehir, is now known by the Phrygian Monuments located in the valley. the first studies in the region began with the study of the monuments found in the valley by W. M. Leake. At the north entrance of the valley Akpara Kale, and at the southeast Gökgöz Kale, Pişmiş Kale and Kocabaş Kale are located. the studies carried out in the valley were more limited to the Phryg, Hellenistic and Roman periods; There are very few studies about prehistoric periods. During the surveys conducted by Rahşan Tamsü Polat and his team from the Department of Archeology at Anadolu University between the years 2017-2018, in addition to the finds dated to Phrygian, Hellenistic and Roman Periods; Paleolithic Period, Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Bronze Age finds were also discovered, and it was understood that the region was settled much earlier.en_US
