dc.description.abstractBaşta kanser hastaları olmak üzere hayatın son döneminde hayat kalitesini etkileyen en önemli konu kronik ağrılardır. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından 1986 yılında ortaya atılan basamak modeli yaklaşımı o yıllardan bu yana kanser ağrısının tüm dünyada etkili bir şekilde sağaltımında ana kılavuz olmuştur. Buna karşın ülkemizde genel olarak hekimler ve sağlık çalışanları, hastalar ve yakın çevreleri ile sağlık sisteminden kaynaklanan çeşitli sorunlar kanser hastalarının yeterli ağrı tedavisine erişimleri önünde engel oluşturmaktadır. Bunlar arasında özellikle opiyofobi ve palyatif bakım sistemindeki eksikliklerden bahsetmemiz gerekir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe most important subject which aff ects the quality of life is chronic pain at the end of life especially for cancer patients. the World Health Organization analgesic ladder for eff ective treatment of cancer pain has been the main guide from 1986 to nowadays worldwide. Nevertheless there are a lot of diff iculties (be drived from medical doctors and health employees, patients and care givers, health care system) to access enough pain treatment for the cancer patients in our country. We should mention especially the opiophobia and lack of palliative care system among them.en_US
